This cell was co-defined and developed by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Sunwoda, overcoming critical challenges in thermal runaway prevention under high-rate charging/discharging and long-cycle life degradation. It features a designed service life exceeding 1 million kilometers, a production line automation rate above 90%, and an integrated AI-powered intelligent quality management system.

Strategic Foundation: Anchored in Vehicle Integration to Accelerate New Energy Transformation

The product has already been designated for use in Dongfeng’s brands including Yipai, Yijing, and Fengxing, and is advancing collaboration with joint ventures such as Stellantis (Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën), Dongfeng Nissan, and Dongfeng Honda, supporting Dongfeng’s electrification strategy and the upgrading of the central China battery industry.
