BYD Signs Major Deal with E-Zone Rent-a-Car for 100,000 Vehicles

[Strategic Partnership] BYD and E-Zone Rent-a-Car have signed a framework agreement for the procurement of 100,000 new energy vehicles and will jointly build the 'Flash Charge China' ecosystem.

Core Strategic Shift: From Vehicle Sales to an Integrated 'Vehicle + Infrastructure + Operations' Ecosystem

BYD and E-Zone Rent-a-Car signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen on May 9, 2026, covering the procurement of 100,000 new energy vehicles and the deployment of BYD Flash Charge stations at all eligible E-Zone outlets nationwide.

Key Metrics: Nearly 30,000 Units Already Procured This Year; 20,000 Flash Charge Stations Targeted by Year-End

Since April 2025, E-Zone Rent-a-Car has deployed 3,000 units of the Qin PLUS DM-i and has cumulatively purchased nearly 30,000 BYD vehicles this year. BYD plans to complete the construction of 20,000 Flash Charge stations by the end of 2026.

Strategic Foundation: Technology Integration and a Closed-Loop Used Vehicle System to Enhance Operational Efficiency

The two parties will integrate BYD’s DiLink system into E-Zone’s dispatching platform. Additionally, BYD-certified retired vehicles will be remarketed through E-Zone’s channels, extending the lifecycle value of each vehicle.
