Models like the NIO ET5 (priced between RMB 298,000 and 356,000), Xiaomi SU7, and multiple Li Auto vehicles appear on the list, breaking the previous norm that limited rural-promotion models to sub-RMB-100,000 commuter vehicles. This year’s catalog spans a price range from RMB 30,000 to over RMB 250,000, reflecting the policy’s targeted response to rising rural consumption demands.

The list includes categories such as micro EVs, plug-in hybrid SUVs, and battery electric sedans, featuring popular models like the BYD Han, Tesla Model 3, and XPeng M03. It was jointly released by five government departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Ministry of Commerce, with plans for dynamic expansion in the future.
