Zhijie RX Officially Positioned as a Direct Competitor to Xiaomi YU7
[New Vehicle Launch] Harmony Intelligent Mobility's Zhijie brand has unveiled its new FUV model, the Zhijie RX, directly targeting the Xiaomi YU7.
Core Development: Zhijie RX Introduces a New Naming Sequence with 'X'
The Zhijie RX is the fourth mass-produced vehicle from the Zhijie brand. Richard Yu described it as Harmony Intelligent Mobility's first model to break away from its numeric naming convention, stating that "X represents being undefined and limitless possibilities." Chairman Guo Rui revealed that the vehicle was developed by a 5,000-person R&D team alongside globally top-tier talent.
Key Specifications: Clear Competitive Positioning in Dimensions and Powertrain
The Zhijie RX measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height (or 1,600 mm for the air suspension version), with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. In comparison, the Xiaomi YU7 is 4,999 mm long, 1,996 mm wide, 1,608 mm tall, and shares the same 3,000 mm wheelbase. The Zhijie RX will be offered in both single- and dual-motor configurations, with battery cells supplied by CALB and CATL.
Strategic Foundation: Highly Aligned Design Origins
Both vehicles draw inspiration from the Ferrari Purosangue design language. Zhijie further claims it has recruited Ferrari’s former chief designer to reinforce its positioning as a premium intelligent high-performance SUV.
