Base Model of Xiaomi YU7 Appears in MIIT Filing with 620km Range and Full Feature Set

[New Vehicle Launch] The base model of the Xiaomi YU7 has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filing directory, featuring a smaller battery but no reduction in equipment, aiming to lower the entry price.

Key Development: 620km Range Variant Rejoins Lineup

The base model of the Xiaomi YU7 is equipped with a 73kWh LFP battery, reducing its CLTC range from 835km to approximately 620km. Curb weight drops from 2,315kg to 2,200kg, a reduction of 115kg. The powertrain remains unchanged, still using a 235kW rear-wheel-drive single motor, though top speed is adjusted from 253km/h down to 220km/h.

Key Specifications: Full Features Retained, Multiple Wheel Options

The vehicle retains flagship features such as LiDAR and a 2,200MPa ultra-high-strength steel body. Externally, it adopts the same semi-parentheses-shaped turn signal tail lamps as the YU7 GT. It offers three wheel size options: 19/20/21 inches, with identical body dimensions and wheelbase (3,000mm) compared to the standard version.

Strategic Rationale: Expanding Product Portfolio to Capture Niche Segments

This variant may be the "true standard version" previously canceled by Lei Jun. Its reintroduction aims to lower the price bracket and strengthen Xiaomi's coverage in the mid-to-high-end all-electric SUV market.
