The collaboration is internally codenamed “Project A” within ByteDance and is led by Yang Liwei, General Manager of Volcano Engine’s Automotive Business; on Seres’ side, it is spearheaded by Li Bo, President of Overseas Business Division. This partnership will go significantly deeper than Volcano Engine’s previous “co-defined, co-developed” model with SAIC Roewe.
