SASAC Launches Special Training Program for AI Talent in New Energy Vehicles
[Policy Update] The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council has launched a special training program for talent in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector among central state-owned enterprises, focusing on cultivating interdisciplinary professionals skilled in 'AI + New Energy Vehicles.'

On May 28, SASAC inaugurated the special training program for NEV talent from central enterprises at Tsinghua University, co-organized by China FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Changan Automobile. The program features three specialized tracks: industrial leadership, marketing leadership, and 'AI + New Energy Vehicles,' involving 23 central state-owned enterprises.
Strategic Foundation: Aligning with Trends in Electrification, Intelligence, and AI Integration
SASAC Vice Chairman Tan Zuojun emphasized the need to enhance technical professionals’ capabilities in strategic direction-setting, core technology breakthroughs, and ecosystem collaboration, while strengthening marketers’ skills in user insight, digital marketing, and overseas expansion. Particular emphasis will be placed on advancing capabilities in AI-defined vehicles and AI-empowered manufacturing.
