[New Vehicle Launch] The SAIC Volkswagen ID.ERA 9X starts pre-sales at RMB 329,800, positioned as a large-range extended electric SUV.
Core Highlights: Starting at RMB 329,800 to Enter the Premium New Energy Market
The ID.ERA 9X offers three all-wheel-drive variants—Pro, Max, and Ultra—and will officially launch on April 25. As Volkswagen’s first range-extended SUV in China, it combines German-engineered chassis tuning with Chinese intelligent ecosystem features, targeting premium family use cases.
Key Specifications: 406 km Pure Electric Range + 800V Fast Charging
The vehicle is equipped with the EA211 range extender and CATL’s 65.2 kWh Xiaoyao battery, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 406 km. Its dimensions measure 5207/1997/1810 mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 3070 mm. Interior features include dual 15.6-inch screens for driver and front passenger, plus a 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screen.
Strategic Foundation: "Joint Venture 2.0" with Deep Localization
Unlike traditional joint venture models, the ID.ERA 9X integrates Volkswagen’s global quality standards with China’s local supply chain, achieving two-way technological integration in intelligent cockpits, advanced driver assistance systems, and battery safety (six-dimensional protection). This marks a systematic counteroffensive by joint venture brands in the new energy vehicle segment.
