SAIC Passenger Vehicle Jinqiao Branch was officially registered on March 12, 2026, with Wang Huan as the legal representative. Its registered address is No. 615 Ningqiao Road, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The business scope includes production of road motor vehicles and sales of new energy vehicles.

Strategic Foundation: Jinqiao Becomes Core Hub for Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry

This move aligns with Pudong New Area's "Top Ten Hardcore Industrial Clusters Plan," positioning Jinqiao as an Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Application Demonstration Zone. Previously, SAIC signed an agreement with the Jinqiao Administration to build a Shangjie new energy vehicle production base, integrating the former SAIC-GM Jinqiao plant’s production lines.
