QCraft Unveils 500TOPS Physical AI Solution
[Technical Breakthrough] QCraft has redefined urban NOA experience with 500TOPS computing power, marking its strategic shift toward general-purpose physical AI.
Core Strategic Shift: From Autonomous Driving to General-Purpose Physical AI
At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, QCraft launched its "Physical AI" model, announcing an upgrade of its strategic focus from autonomous driving to general-purpose physical AI. CEO Yu Qian emphasized that while autonomous driving remains foundational, the company's vision now extends to intelligent decision-making across the broader physical world.
Key Metrics: 500TOPS Enables Efficient NOA
Leveraging a unified architecture combining world models and reinforcement learning, QCraft’s Chengfeng MAX solution delivers advanced urban NOA capabilities using only 500TOPS of computing power. In the same period, new vehicle deliveries equipped with urban NOA in China reached 3.4016 million units, a year-over-year increase of 102%, reflecting an industry compound annual growth rate of 388.48%.
Strategic Foundation: Prioritizing Experience Over Raw Compute
Facing bottlenecks in high-definition map-based approaches, QCraft has opted to tackle long-tail scenario challenges through physical AI, focusing on depth of user experience rather than the number of cities covered or sheer TOPS accumulation, thereby forging a differentiated path to mass production.
