NIO launched its flagship SUV, the ES9, on May 27, 2026, and began deliveries the very next day. By June 26, it had completed 10,000 deliveries in only 30 days. CEO William Li (Li Bin) personally handed over the keys of the 10,000th vehicle to Li Ningchuan, founder of FUTE Technology and the milestone vehicle’s owner.

The ES9 is priced between RMB 498,000 and RMB 628,000 (or RMB 390,000–520,000 with the battery-as-a-service option). With an overall length of 5,365 mm and a wheelbase of 3,250 mm, it claims the title of China’s largest all-electric SUV. All trims come standard with a 102 kWh battery, a 900V high-voltage architecture, steer-by-wire technology, and rear-wheel steering (enabling a turning radius of just 5.4 meters).
