On July 24, the Department of Equipment Industry I of MIIT visited GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and Zhaoqing XPeng New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. to conduct supervisory inspections on product safety assurance capabilities and production consistency of road motor vehicle manufacturers. The inspections focused on verifying whether these companies continue to meet regulatory requirements regarding intelligent connected vehicle safety, design and development processes, and production consistency. On-site, inspectors randomly selected sample vehicles and traction batteries for laboratory testing to confirm compliance with national standards.
