On July 8, the Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC Golden Edition officially launched at RMB 339,800, approximately RMB 10,000 lower than its pre-sale price. Simultaneously, the entry-level Silver Edition opened for pre-orders starting at just RMB 299,900, significantly undercutting the combustion-engine GLC’s starting price of RMB 350,000.
Key Specifications: 680 km Range + 22-Minute Fast Charging + 800V Architecture
The new model is built on an 800V electrical architecture, delivering a maximum CLTC range of 703 km with CATL ternary lithium batteries. It achieves a 10%–80% state of charge in only 22 minutes. The vehicle measures 4,933 × 1,914 × 1,710 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,027 mm.
Strategic Foundation: China Team Leads Intelligent Cockpit Development, Integrated with Doubao Large Model
The Mercedes-Benz China R&D team took the lead in cockpit development for the first time, integrating the vehicle’s infotainment system with the Doubao large AI model, achieving a user penetration rate of nearly 98%. Additionally, it is among the first to feature the Momenta World Model, enabling urban NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) and end-to-end parking assistance nationwide.
