[Personnel Change] Lu Xiao has succeeded Wang Jun as General Manager of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company, while Xu Ping concurrently assumes the role of General Manager of SAIC-GM.

Lu Xiao joined Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) in 1997 and previously served as the first Chinese Chief Engineer for a GM global vehicle platform. Since August 2024, he has been General Manager of SAIC-GM, spearheading the launch of Buick’s premium new energy sub-brand “Zhi Jing” and driving SAIC-GM to achieve the highest NEV penetration rate among all joint ventures.
