Li Auto Officially Announces L6 Facelift and i9 Flagship
[New Vehicle Launch] On July 9, Li Auto officially unveiled two new models: the all-new L6 will debut on July 16, and the all-electric flagship i9 will launch in September.
Core Developments: L6 Interior Upgraded Beyond Segment; i9 Targets Premium Segment
The all-new Li Auto L6 will be launched on July 16, featuring an upgraded interior with a 29-inch integrated display sourced from the L9, while removing the small screen above the steering wheel. CEO Li Xiang described it as offering a "segment-transcending experience," though due to rising battery and chip costs, the per-vehicle cost may increase by RMB 14,000.
Key Specifications: i9 Achieves Dual Breakthroughs in Size and Performance
The Li Auto i9 has appeared in official filings, revealing a length of 5,225 mm and a wheelbase of 3,168 mm. It features dual-motor all-wheel drive (front motor: 150 kW / rear motor: 250 kW), a top speed of 200 km/h, and offers 21- or 22-inch wheels. It is powered by ternary lithium batteries, with cells supplied by Sunwoda and Jiangsu Era New Energy.
Strategic Foundation: Completing the '9-Series' All-Electric Flagship Portfolio
The i9 is the second model after the MEGA to offer a "Home" variant, reinforcing Li Auto's positioning in intelligent family mobility and further expanding its presence in the mid-to-large all-electric SUV market.
