Kong Yanshuang joined Xiaomi in early March 2026, directly entering the company’s top automotive decision-making body—the Strategy Office—as the “Political Commissar” for sales, replacing former director Li Xiaorui. Eason, another employee with Tesla experience, also joined at the same time. Both report directly to the Strategy Office and to Lei Jun.
