Huawei Qiankun ADS Premium Driving Package Price Increase in July

[Technical Pricing] Huawei's Qiankun ADS premium intelligent driving feature package will see a price increase effective July 1, 2026.

Key Development: Out-of-Pocket Cost Rises from RMB 12,000 to RMB 15,000

Starting July 1, the official price of the Qiankun ADS Max and Ultra premium intelligent driving packages will be adjusted upward from RMB 32,000 to RMB 35,000. After applying approximately RMB 20,000 in purchase subsidies offered by partner automakers (such as Aito and Avatr), the user’s actual out-of-pocket cost will increase from RMB 12,000 to RMB 15,000, reflecting a RMB 3,000 rise.

Strategic Rationale: Phasing Out Discounts Signals Profitability Push

Previously, Huawei had consistently kept user costs low through a combination of limited-time discounts and automaker subsidies. This price adjustment may signal that its intelligent driving technology has entered a commercial monetization phase. Customers who have already placed orders but not yet taken delivery can still purchase at the original price, mitigating the policy’s immediate impact.

Industry Impact: Premium Intelligent Driving Enters a Period of Value Reassessment

As leading players gradually exit the “subsidies-for-market-share” model, the industry may now face a dual test of user willingness to pay for intelligent driving features and the ability to command technology-driven pricing premiums.
