Hesai Launches Four New Products to Enter Physical AI Infrastructure

[Technical Breakthrough] At its 2026 Technology Open Day, Hesai Technologies unveiled four new products, marking a strategic shift from 'spatial perception' to 'spatial intelligence.'

Core Development: From LiDAR Leader to Physical AI 'Shovel Seller'

Led by Li Yifan, Hesai introduced the world’s first 6D full-color SPAD-SoC chip 'Picasso', the ETX LiDAR supporting up to 4,320 lines, the spatial intelligence AI hardware Kosmo, and a robotic power module. For the first time, color-sensitive imaging and TOF ranging are integrated at the chip level, enabling natively colored point clouds.

Strategic Foundation: Betting on Physical-World AI Infrastructure

The company has clearly positioned itself as an infrastructure provider for the physical AI era, targeting the trend toward autonomy for all moving objects. It is no longer just supplying 'eyes,' but building foundational capabilities for 'seeing and understanding' simultaneously.

Industry Impact: Ending the 'Thousand-Line Rat Race,' Elevating User Experience

This move breaks the industry's singular focus on line count competition, driving LiDAR technology from geometric perception toward semantic understanding and accelerating intelligent advancement in autonomous driving and robotics.
