Hengchuang Nano Breaks Ground on RMB 4.8 Billion Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate Project

[Capacity Construction] The first phase of Hengchuang Nano's RMB 4.8 billion lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) project has commenced construction in Yinchuan.

Core Development: Phase One Targets 30,000 Tons Annual Output, Scheduled for Commissioning by End of 2026

On March 26, the first phase of Ningxia Hengchuang Nano's 130,000-ton-per-year LMFP cathode material project broke ground. It is slated for completion and commissioning by December 2026, with projected annual tax contributions exceeding RMB 40 million upon full operation.

Key Metrics: 15%–20% Higher Energy Density, 40% Lower Carbon Footprint via Green Power

As an upgraded version of lithium iron phosphate (LFP), LMFP delivers a 15%–20% increase in energy density. The project utilizes green electricity, resulting in a product carbon footprint 40% lower than the industry average. Leveraging Yinchuan’s strategic location, logistics costs are significantly reduced, and supply response speed to the northwestern market improves by 50%.

Strategic Foundation: Global Shipment Leader for Three Consecutive Years, Patents Spanning Multiple Countries

Hengchuang Nano has ranked first globally in LMFP shipments for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025. The company holds a proprietary solid-liquid two-phase synthesis process and nearly 100 core patents covering China, the U.S., Europe, Japan, and South Korea. Its products have already been integrated into the supply chains of multiple leading battery manufacturers.
