[Policy Announcement] The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and three other ministries jointly issued the 'Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation in the Automotive Industry.'

Key Direction: Achieve High-Level Industry-Wide Digital and Intelligent Transformation by 2030

By 2027, digital and intelligent technologies will be deeply integrated across all enterprise functions—R&D, production, supply, sales, and after-sales service—significantly enhancing smart manufacturing maturity and production efficiency. By 2030, the entire industry will reach a high level of digital and intelligent development.

Strategic Foundation: Six Key Initiatives to Drive Implementation

The plan outlines six key initiatives, covering 15 priority tasks: diagnostic assessment and improvement, digital empowerment for small and medium-sized automotive component enterprises, demonstration of typical scenarios and AI applications, tiered cultivation of industrial players, refinement of standards systems, and breakthroughs in core technologies. These initiatives aim to strengthen industrial chain collaboration and foundational capabilities.
