[Company Update] Chen Wei, former Chief AI Scientist at Li Auto, and Zhang Xiao, former Head of the Second Product Line, have co-founded Xieyue Intelligence, an embodied intelligence company focused on consumer applications, with investment from Li Auto.

Chen Wei serves as Chairman and CTO, while Zhang Xiao is CEO, with each leading technology and product development respectively. The company was established in February 2026 and has assembled a team of nearly 20 people, with offices in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen.

Key Metrics: Triple Registrations, Million-Level Capital, Dual Investors

Each of the three subsidiaries is registered with a capital of RMB 1 million, and Zhang Xiao is the legal representative for all. The seed round was jointly completed by Li Auto and Vision Plus Capital, with related business registration changes recently finalized.

Strategic Foundation: Inheriting Li Auto’s DNA, Focused on Consumer Home Needs

Differentiating itself from industrial B2B approaches, Xieyue Intelligence explicitly targets home scenarios. It leverages Zhang Xiao’s extensive C-end experience from hit products like the Li L9, and Chen Wei’s technical expertise in vehicle-based large models such as MindGPT and MindVLA, to develop consumer-grade robotic products.
