Chen Longdong was appointed legal representative and CEO of Xingchen Future in June 2025, tasked with overseeing vehicle production, but left the company several months ago. Dreame stated that the Xingchen Future BU led by Chen does not represent its entire automotive initiative. The company affirmed that vehicle development remains on track for mass production by the end of 2027, with a strategic focus on overseas markets.

Strategic Restructuring: Large-Scale Business Consolidation into Four Core Areas

Dreame is consolidating its original portfolio of over 200 independent business units into four main segments: smart home, outdoor & garden, smart mobility, and embodied intelligence. Business units without tangible progress have been discontinued. The automotive business will no longer operate as an independent entity; only its R&D capabilities will be retained and integrated into the Industrial Research Institute.
