#Battery Industry Regulation and Competition#Automotive Industry

[Technical Breakthrough] Finland-based Donut Lab has launched the world’s first mass-producible all-solid-state battery, capable of a full charge in 5 minutes, with deliveries starting in Q1 2026.

Core Development: Commercialization of All-Solid-State Batteries Achieved

Donut Lab announced that its all-solid-state battery is now ready for OEM mass production and will be initially integrated into Verge Motorcycles’ TS Pro and Ultra models.

Key Specifications: Outperforming Conventional Lithium-Ion Batteries Across the Board

Energy density reaches 400 Wh/kg (33% higher than mainstream lithium-ion batteries), supports full charging in 5 minutes, offers a cycle life of 100,000 charges, and does not require limiting charge to 80%.

Strategic Foundation: Safety, Sustainability, and Low Cost Combined

The battery features a rare-material-free design, is non-flammable, withstands extreme temperatures, and has a lower production cost than conventional lithium-ion batteries, positioning it for global-scale manufacturing.
