On May 18, Denza, a brand under BYD, unveiled the N9 Flash Charging Edition, positioned as a "flagship tech-driven SUV." It is available in three trims—Deluxe, Premium, and Flagship—with prices ranging from RMB 409,800 to RMB 469,800. Brand ambassador Leehom Wang made a live appearance and became the 500,000th Denza owner.

Key Specifications: 60% Charge in 5 Minutes, Dual Breakthroughs in Range and Performance

The new model features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 420 km and a combined range of 1,520 km. It can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes under normal temperatures, and even at -30°C, it reaches 97% state of charge in only 12 minutes. With a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds, it is equipped with the Yi San Fang triple-motor system, Cloud Ride-A air suspension, and the God’s Eye 5.0 intelligent driving system.

Strategic Foundation: Building a Comprehensive Flash Charging Network to Strengthen Premium Ecosystem

BYD plans to achieve flash charging station coverage within 3 km in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, 5 km in Tier-3 and Tier-4 cities, and 6 km in Tier-5 and Tier-6 cities by the end of 2026. Concurrently, the company is offering financial packages including zero down payment and zero interest, up to RMB 72,000 in interest subsidies, and a RMB 20,000 trade-in incentive. Buyers will also receive complimentary services for three years, including free vehicle pick-up/drop-off, parking assistance, and one year of flash charging privileges.
