CATL and the Quanzhou Municipal Government signed an agreement in February 2026 to build an intelligent, zero-carbon battery factory in Nan'an City, with construction scheduled to officially commence in Q2 2026. The project will leverage advanced green manufacturing technologies to strengthen the supporting capabilities of the new energy industrial chain.
