[New Vehicle Launch] BYD officially announced the Song Ultra EV, the first B-class all-electric SUV under its Dynasty Network, scheduled for market launch in Q2 2026.

Core Strategy: Filling the Market Gap Between Song L and Yuan PLUS

The Song Ultra EV targets the RMB 200,000–250,000 family vehicle segment. With dimensions of 4,850×1,910×1,670 mm and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, it is the largest model in the Song family, enhancing BYD’s coverage in the mid-to-high-end market.

Key Specifications: Dual-Motor Option and Advanced Intelligent Driving Features

It offers two rear-wheel-drive single-motor variants rated at 240 kW and 270 kW, powered by LFP Blade Batteries and supporting 800V high-voltage fast charging (30%–80% in just 30 minutes). An optional LiDAR system is available, paired with the advanced intelligent driving platform "God's Eye B," enabling urban and highway navigation assistance.

Strategic Foundation: Dual-Network Synergy in the Mid-Size Pure Electric SUV Segment

The new model will complement the Ocean Network’s Sealion 06 EV, forming a dual-channel competitive strategy and further strengthening BYD’s product matrix in the mainstream RMB 200,000–250,000 family-oriented pure electric SUV market.
