Xiamen Ruiting Investment Co., Ltd., CATL’s controlling shareholder, plans to donate 5 million unrestricted A-shares, valued at over RMB 2 billion based on current market prices. These shares will be contributed to the "Zeng Yuqun Education Development Fund" to support educational initiatives at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Key Figures: Total Donations Exceed RMB 3.4 Billion

In December 2021, Zeng previously donated 2 million CATL shares (worth approximately RMB 1.4 billion). Combined with this latest contribution, his total stock donations amount to over RMB 3.4 billion, ranking among the largest donations ever received by Chinese universities.
