The XPeng GX is built on the new SEPA 3.0 physical AI vehicle architecture, equipped with steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering systems, carrying forward the X9’s DNA of “spacious comfort” and “agile drivability.” Positioned as an AI-driven new luxury large six-seater SUV, XPeng founder He Xiaopeng stated that the “X” stands for eXploration and X-tech, emphasizing the use of technology to fundamentally solve problems.

The vehicle features a long wheelbase, floating roof, full-width light bar, and minimalist rear design, earning it the nickname “Greater Bay Area Range Rover” among netizens. In terms of powertrain, XPeng plans to launch three super extended-range models in Q1 2026, and roll out a total of seven dual-energy models (battery electric + extended-range) throughout the year. The GX is expected to be offered in both variants, balancing range and interior space performance.
