On June 22, XPeng announced that the first SUV in the MONA series will be named L03, where "L" stands for SUV and "M" (as in M03) represents sedans, establishing a dual-engine growth model to enhance risk resilience.

Key Specifications: Compact SUV Offering Both BEV and EREV Powertrains

The vehicle measures 4,650/1,920/1,600 mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The battery electric version features a 183 kW motor paired with either a 56 kWh or 69 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. The extended-range version combines a 1.5L range extender (70 kW) with the same 183 kW motor, delivering a WLTC pure-electric range of 241–257 km.

Strategic Foundation: Targeting the Youth Market at RMB 130,000–150,000

The L03 inherits the family design language, featuring T-shaped starship headlights, full-width taillights, frameless doors, and semi-recessed door handles, targeting urban youth, style-conscious women, and young families to reinforce its smart and fashionable identity.
