[New Vehicle Launch] Xiaomi has officially unveiled two all-new extended-range SUVs, the Pengcheng N70 and N90, in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) registration catalog.

Core Strategy: N70 Targets Volume Sales, N90 Focuses on Mid-to-Large Intelligent Space

The Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 is a 5-seat midsize SUV offered in two battery variants: a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery from CALB (380 km CLTC range) and a 52 kWh LFP battery from Sunwoda (270 km CLTC range). The N90 is a 5/7-seat mid-to-large SUV equipped across all trims with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering approximately 370 km of range, and includes a special "Cultural Lifestyle Service Vehicle" variant.

Key Specifications: Four Models Registered Simultaneously, Pricing Likely to Be Competitive

Registered models include the N70, N70 Max, N90, and N90 Max Camping Edition, with the latter featuring a pop-up roof and LiDAR. Industry insiders estimate the N70 will start at around RMB 179,900, while the N90 will be priced under RMB 280,000. Both are built on Xiaomi’s Kunlun architecture, emphasizing intelligence and flexible interior space.

Strategic Foundation: Carving Out a Sub-brand Path, Mirroring Onvo’s Approach

The Pengcheng series serves as Xiaomi Auto’s second product line, distinct from the main SU7/YU7 brand, targeting family and outdoor use cases. It aims to capture the extended-range SUV market through high value-for-money offerings and differentiated naming.
