Xiaomi Launches New Hybrid SUV Sub-brand 'SKYNOMAD'

[Product Launch] Xiaomi's first range-extended electric SUV will be launched under the new sub-brand 'SKYNOMAD' and will no longer feature the MI logo.

Core Strategy: Independent Sub-brand Targeting Household Range-Extended Market

SKYNOMAD is positioned below Xiaomi’s main brand, focusing on household use, long-distance travel, and outdoor scenarios. Its first model, the Kunlun N3 (previously rumored as YU9), is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026, directly competing with Li Auto’s L-series.

Key Specifications: Range and Product Portfolio Revealed

The vehicle features a range-extender system paired with a battery exceeding 70 kWh, delivering a pure electric range of 400–500 km. The brand plans to roll out three SUV models—Kunlun 10/20/30—and will also enter the premium pop-top camper segment with the Mann Island.

Strategic Foundation: Redefining Design Language and Intelligent Features

The exterior adopts a boxy and rugged design, equipped with split headlights and a roof-mounted LiDAR, emphasizing its outdoor capabilities and advanced intelligent driving functions.
