[Global Expansion] Lei Jun clarified that the appearance of the Xiaomi YU7 in the United States was solely for benchmarking tests, and the company currently has no plans to enter the U.S. market.

Core Strategy: 2027 Marked as Xiaomi Auto’s Official Year of Global Launch

Lei Jun explicitly stated that Xiaomi Auto currently has no plans to enter the U.S. market, suggesting that the YU7 spotted on California roads was likely a benchmark vehicle purchased by U.S.-based industry peers or suppliers. The company’s overseas expansion will initially prioritize Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, with 2027 set as the official launch year for international operations.

Key Metrics: 39,000 Deliveries in January, YU7 as the Main Driver

In January 2026, Xiaomi Auto delivered 39,000 vehicles, a year-over-year increase of 70.33%. Among these, the YU7—launched just six months prior—has already surpassed 150,000 cumulative deliveries, significantly outperforming the SU7 during its comparable launch period and becoming the core sales pillar ahead of export preparations.

Strategic Foundation: Prioritizing Domestic Deliveries to Strengthen Global Readiness

Lei Jun emphasized that over the next two years, the company will prioritize fulfilling domestic market demand, advancing internationalization only after the domestic operational system matures, thereby ensuring overseas expansion is built upon a solid domestic foundation.
