Tesla Raises Prices for Select U.S. Model Y Variants

[Market Update] Tesla has increased the prices of three U.S. Model Y variants.

Key Developments: Long Range and Performance Models See Price Hikes; Entry-Level Models Unchanged

The Model Y Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive versions each rose by $1,000, now priced at $49,990 and $45,990, respectively. The Performance variant increased by $500, reaching $57,990. Meanwhile, the prices of the entry-level Rear-Wheel Drive model ($39,990) and the entry-level All-Wheel Drive model ($41,990) remain unchanged.

Strategic Rationale: Modest Price Increases Aim to Stabilize Margins and Boost Orders

This adjustment represents a price increase of approximately 1.2% to 2.5%, marking the first time in two years that Tesla has raised Model Y prices in the U.S. market. Lower-priced variants are retained to maintain broad market coverage. Tesla previously implemented a $1,000 price hike on certain versions in 2024.
