[New Vehicle Launch] Tesla has introduced an entry-level Cybertruck starting at $59,990, making it the most affordable production model in the series.

Core Development: Significant Price Reduction and Streamlined Features

The new dual-motor all-wheel-drive version, starting at $59,990, replaces the rear-wheel-drive model and is $20,000 cheaper than the previous equivalent variant. Simultaneously, the top-tier Cyberbeast trim’s price has been reduced from $114,990 to $99,990.

Key Specifications: Performance and Range Remain Competitive

The entry-level model features a dual-motor system, delivering approximately 593 horsepower, accelerating from 0–60 mph in 4.1 seconds, with an EPA-estimated range of 325 miles (approximately 523 kilometers).

Strategic Rationale: Unbundling Packages to Lower Entry Barrier

The former “Luxe Package,” which included Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability and complimentary Supercharging credits, has been removed. Additionally, premium features such as the rear-seat touchscreen, ventilated seats, air suspension, and L-track rails have been eliminated. The vehicle now uses a coil spring suspension and 18-inch wheels.
