Sun Baigong confirmed via his personal Weibo account on January 29, 2026, that he has joined Avatr Technology. He will be responsible for marketing promotion, end-to-end product management, and the establishment of the marketing system, reporting directly to CEO Chen Zhuo.

Sun Baigong brings 19 years of experience at Huawei, having worked across the Carrier Business Group, Enterprise Business Group, and Consumer Business Group. He previously led Honor’s Middle East and Africa operations and its global all-scenario strategy. Later, during his tenure at Li Auto, he oversaw the Go-to-Market (GTM) system and channel strategy amid the company's initiative to comprehensively adopt Huawei’s methodologies. Avatr Chairman Wang Hui previously stated that the company was “not yet sufficiently Huawei-like,” and Sun’s appointment is expected to accelerate the implementation of streamlined processes and efficient decision-making mechanisms.
