Saidou Tech Launches AIVA Brand

[Brand Launch] Saidou Tech has officially unveiled its AI-powered automotive brand, AIVA, with the first mass-produced vehicle scheduled for market launch in 2026.

Core Development: SERES Aims to Shed "Contract Manufacturer" Label Through New Brand

Saidou Tech, formerly known as Landian Technology, completed its rebranding and a capital increase of RMB 6.671 billion at the end of May. Chongqing state-owned investment platform Sha Ci Zhi Yuan invested RMB 3.43 billion, acquiring a 34.5% stake to become the largest shareholder. SERES’ subsidiary now holds 32.96%, losing majority control.

Strategic Foundation: Focused on an AI-Native Vehicle Development Path

AIVA advocates the philosophy of "AI first, then the car." Its first concept car, the AIVA Origin Concept, has been revealed. The production model, AIVA ME7, targets the above RMB 200,000 segment and will be offered in both battery-electric and extended-range variants, manufactured at SERES’ Phoenix Factory.

Industry Impact: Clarification of Partnerships and Key Talent Moves

ByteDance has explicitly denied involvement in vehicle manufacturing or equity investment, stating it will only provide large-model and smart cockpit technical support. AIVA’s core team includes Li Bo, former head of Huawei Smart Selection Vehicle Product Department, signaling a strong commitment to independent R&D capabilities.
