Saidou Tech's Launch of AIVA Brand Prompted Warning from Avatr Over Alleged Visual Plagiarism

[Brand Dispute] Saidou Tech unveiled its new AI-powered automotive brand, AIVA, which immediately drew a public warning from Avatr over alleged visual plagiarism.

Core Development: Avatr Explicitly Opposes 'Ctrl+C-Style Innovation'

On the afternoon of June 9, Avatr posted an official statement asserting that AIVA's name and logo design bear striking similarities to its own, describing the move as "a clear warning." Avatr emphasized that "the Chinese auto industry must not revert to improper reverse-engineering practices." Its official social media account further added in the comments section that it reserves the right to pursue legal action.

Key Data: First Model Targets the 200,000+ RMB Market Segment

Saidou Tech simultaneously released official images of its concept car, the AIVA Origin Concept, and its production model, the AIVA ME7—a crossover SUV equipped with LiDAR, electronic exterior rearview mirrors, and a large rear spoiler. The company plans to launch the vehicle within this year, targeting the mainstream market segment above 200,000 RMB.

Strategic Foundation: Embodied AI as the Brand’s Core Narrative

AIVA stands for "Artificial Intelligence Voyage Ahead" and positions itself on the integration of large AI models with biomechanics to create a physical AI entity that is "perceptive and responsive." However, the brand faced immediate questions about its originality right from its debut.
