[New Vehicle Launch] Spotlight Auto, a joint venture between Great Wall Motor and BMW, has introduced the Ora 7, positioned as a mid-size all-electric sedan, offered in both three-box and shooting brake body styles.

The Ora 7 is manufactured by Spotlight Auto in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, and features the joint venture’s badge on the rear. Its design continues the brand’s signature "frog-eye" front lighting theme. The shooting brake variant is equipped with a lidar unit on the roof and integrates cameras into the side mirrors, signaling support for advanced intelligent driving capabilities.

Key Specifications: Up to 630 km Range, Wheelbase of 2870 mm

The vehicle is available with 58.3 kWh and 68.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 535 km, 560 km, and 630 km, respectively. Dimensions for the shooting brake version measure 4820/1850 (1870)/1520 mm, while the three-box variant measures 4890/1850/1503 mm; both share a uniform wheelbase of 2870 mm. Powertrain options for the shooting brake include a single motor (160 kW) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup (160 kW + 150 kW).
