[New Vehicle Launch] Mercedes-Benz has globally unveiled the all-electric VLE, built on an entirely new MPV architecture, offering over 700 km of WLTP-rated range.

Core Development: The First 800V Architecture Luxury All-Electric MPV Lands in China

The Mercedes-Benz VLE, the brand’s first all-electric model based on a new modular MPV platform, features an 800V electrical architecture and achieves a WLTP-certified range exceeding 700 km. The vehicle will be produced by Fujian Benz and will be accompanied by plans for a larger VLS variant.

Key Specifications: Drag Coefficient of 0.25 + Dual Exterior Design Packages

The VLE boasts an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.25 and offers two exterior design themes: Luxury and AMG. The Luxury version emphasizes chrome accents and "dish-style" wheels, while the AMG variant features blacked-out trim and sporty wheels. The tailgate supports independent opening of the rear window, enhancing practicality.

Strategic Foundation: Accelerating the Expansion of Mercedes-Benz’s New Energy Vehicle Portfolio in China

The VLE carries forward the design language of the Vision V concept car, integrating illuminated grilles, micro-LED digital headlights, and a "mobile VIP lounge" cabin to reinforce Mercedes-Benz’s technological and experiential leadership in the premium all-electric MPV segment.
