Strategic Foundation: 'Equal Intelligence for ICE and EV' Accelerates Localization

In response to China's 67.2% new energy vehicle penetration rate (as of June 2026), Mercedes-Benz is advancing its 'Equal Intelligence for ICE and EV' strategy by integrating localized AI solutions into intelligent cockpits, driver assistance systems, and sales channels. The company is simultaneously expanding both its premium internal combustion engine and pure electric product lines, with a concentrated rollout in the second half of the year including the new-generation S-Class, Maybach S-Class, and locally produced long-wheelbase GLE.
