Core Development: First Production Model Based on the MB.EA Platform
The all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC is built on the dedicated MB.EA electric platform, positioned as a midsize SUV and offered in both five-seat and 4+2-seat configurations. Its exterior design echoes the brand’s iconic shield-shaped grille from 1900, featuring an illuminated grille with a 942-pixel matrix and Digital Light headlamps, with the three-pointed star emblem seamlessly integrated into both front and rear lighting clusters.
Key Specifications: 800V Architecture + 703 km Range
With dimensions of 4,933 × 1,902 × 1,710 mm and a wheelbase of 3,027 mm, it is the largest GLC ever produced. The entire lineup comes standard with an 800V high-voltage platform and dual-motor all-wheel drive (combined output of 310 kW), powered by an 85.5 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery, offering CLTC range options of 680 km and 703 km.
Strategic Foundation: S-Class Technology Trickle-Down + Intelligent Cabin Upgrade
The chassis features air suspension derived from the S-Class and bi-directional 4.5° rear-wheel steering, balancing agility and comfort. The cabin is equipped with a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen and an end-to-end large-model intelligent driving system co-developed with Momenta, reinforcing its positioning as a tech-forward vehicle.
