On April 22, during Leapmotor's live broadcast of the D19's "Hangzhou-to-Beijing 1,000-kilometer Range Challenge," the center console AR navigation interface unexpectedly malfunctioned—the lane markings and surrounding vehicle information vanished entirely, leaving only the vehicle model visible. Throughout the broadcast, CEO Cao Li was seen repeatedly glancing at the screen with a visibly tense expression. Some owners noted this issue had occurred before.

Cao Li revealed that in the initial phase, the range-extended version traveled 342 kilometers in pure electric mode, while the dashboard indicated a consumption of 460 kilometers, resulting in a range achievement rate of 74.3%.
