[New Vehicle Launch] The Lantu Taishan Ultra and Black Warrior editions will launch and begin simultaneous deliveries on March 17.

Core Development: China's First Mass-Produced L3 SUV Arrives

The Lantu Taishan Ultra is positioned as China’s first mass-produced L3-level SUV, debuting with an 896-line quad-lidar system and Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0 intelligent driving platform. It features 34 sensors, enabling detection up to 220 meters ahead and identifying low obstacles as small as 14 cm in height. Six external “blue indicator lights” communicate the vehicle’s intentions through varying flash frequencies.

Key Specifications: Dual Breakthroughs in Handling and Comfort

The vehicle comes standard with a triple-chamber air suspension, EDC Magic Carpet function, and bi-directional 16° rear-wheel steering, achieving a turning radius of just 5.4 meters—comparable to that of a compact (A-segment) sedan. The Black Warrior Edition is a limited variant featuring an all-black exterior, 22-inch forged wheels, red brake calipers, a new starlight headliner, AI Cloud Comfort seats, and a 32-speaker audio system.

Strategic Foundation: L3 Intelligent Driving Validation Nears Completion

The Lantu Taishan has already obtained an L3 road-testing license, completing 110,000 kilometers of real-world road tests and 900,000 kilometers of simulation testing, covering scenarios such as traffic congestion, narrow alleys, and adverse weather conditions—marking the imminent commercial deployment of its advanced intelligent driving capabilities.
