The Type 01 is Jaguar's first all-electric model under its brand revival strategy. The "Type" in its name pays homage to the 1951 C-TYPE racing lineage, the "0" signifies its all-electric powertrain, and the "1" represents the first model of a new era. The vehicle was fully designed and manufactured in the UK, with a unique emblem positioned at the junction of the hood and windshield, establishing the future family design language.

Built on a dedicated all-electric architecture, the car delivers a combined output exceeding 1,000 horsepower. Its expected dimensions are 5,235/2,220/1,395 mm (length/width/height), though the wheelbase has not been fully disclosed.
