#Geely EV Strategy and Restructuring#Chinese Automaker Global Expansion and Competition

[Corporate Strategy] Geely is advancing the establishment of China's automotive industry standards by sharing its achievements in safety and design.

⚡ Key Initiative: RMB 2 billion invested to build the world’s largest comprehensive safety center, with patents opened to the industry

Geely has recently completed a global comprehensive safety center with an investment of at least RMB 2 billion, opening certain safety-related patents to the entire industry. Meanwhile, at the 2025 International Automotive Design Forum, Geely released the third edition of the "White Paper on Research into the Chinese Automotive Design Discourse System," sharing its systematic research findings in automotive design.

📊 Key Metrics: 2.78 million vehicles sold annually, 42% year-on-year growth

In the first 11 months of 2025, Geely achieved cumulative sales of 2.78 million vehicles, a 42% year-over-year increase—far exceeding the industry average growth of approximately 10%. Among its brands, Galaxy reached one million units in sales in just 10 months, and has delivered over 1.71 million vehicles cumulatively within 30 months, solidifying its position among the top-tier new energy vehicle players.

🔍 Strategic Foundation: Building a design moat through a “systematic approach”

Chen Zheng, Vice President of Geely Auto Group, emphasized that the Chinese automotive design sector urgently needs a replicable and evolvable “system.” By transforming its own practices into an industry-wide reference, Geely is elevating competition from products to standards, fulfilling the social responsibilities expected of a leading enterprise.
