Geely Galaxy V900 Debuts Super AI Range-Extending Technology, Redefining the Benchmark for Extended-Range MPVs

#Geely EV Strategy and Restructuring

[Technology Launch] The Geely Galaxy V900 introduces the all-new generation of Super AI Range-Extending Technology, ushering in the next phase of new energy vehicles with four core advantages.

⚡ Core Development: Breaking Through Traditional Range-Extender Limitations

The Galaxy V900 features the industry’s only dual-motor all-wheel-drive system (front and rear motors), significantly optimizing energy consumption under low battery conditions and reducing maintenance costs. Its 1.5T ultra-efficient range extender achieves a remarkable 3.77 kWh of electricity generated per liter of fuel, bringing the cost of electricity generation down to just RMB 1.9 per kWh, nearly matching the cost parity between fuel and electricity.

📊 Key Metrics: Leading in Both Space Utilization and Intelligence

Through its pioneering vertical stacked layout for the range-extending electric drive system, the vehicle achieves an exceptional cabin space utilization rate of 91.8%. The front powertrain assembly occupies only 0.4 m³, freeing up nearly 150 mm of additional longitudinal space for the passenger cabin. Additionally, the Galaxy AI Cloud Powertrain 2.5 intelligently switches between two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes based on navigation data and driver habits, enhancing adaptability across all driving scenarios.
