Ferrari Unveils Its First All-Electric Supercar, Luce
[New Vehicle Launch] Ferrari has officially unveiled its first all-electric supercar, the Luce, with a starting price of RMB 4.35 million.
Core Development: Luce Redefines the Electric Supercar Paradigm
Designed by former Apple design chief Jony Ive, this four-door, five-seat all-electric supercar features suicide doors and a "glass cockpit" design. With an overall length exceeding 5 meters, it marks Ferrari's first-ever five-seat production model.
Key Specifications: 1,050 hp, 0–100 km/h in 2.5 Seconds
The vehicle is equipped with a quad-motor all-wheel-drive system built on an 800V architecture, delivering a peak output of 1,050 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. All core components were independently developed at Maranello and incorporate more than 60 new patents.
Strategic Foundation: Electrification ≠ Abandoning Internal Combustion Engines
Ferrari emphasizes that the Luce is a pivotal element of its three-pronged powertrain strategy—encompassing pure electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engines—aimed at expanding performance boundaries rather than replacing traditional powertrains.
