[New Vehicle Launch] The FAW Yueyi 08 has made its physical debut, positioned as a B-segment new energy flagship sedan, offering both battery electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) powertrains.

Key Development: First Yueyi Model Featuring the 'FAW' Rear Badge

At the FAW Bestune 2026 Global Ecosystem Partner Conference, the brand announced a strategic refresh, upgrading 'Bestune Yueyi' into an independent new energy brand named 'FAW Yueyi.' The FAW Yueyi 08, as the first model to bear the 'FAW' rear badge, was officially unveiled, with its manufacturing entity clearly designated as China FAW Group.

Key Specifications: LiDAR + Snapdragon 8295P Chip, Dual Powertrain Strategy

The vehicle is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR, an intelligent driving system co-developed with Horizon Robotics, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip. The BEV variant delivers a motor output of 202 kW, while the EREV version combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (70 kW) with a 27.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, achieving a WLTC all-electric range of 178 km. The vehicle dimensions are 4920×1920×1480 mm, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm.
