FAW-Volkswagen Audi Appoints New CEO

[Personnel Change] FAW-Volkswagen Audi announced that Jörg Menges will assume the role of CEO, succeeding Helmut Stettner, whose term has concluded and who is returning to Germany.

Effective April 1, 2026, Jörg Menges will officially become Chief Executive Officer of Audi FAW NEV Company Limited, replacing Helmut Stettner, who completed his term. Menges brings 31 years of international automotive industry experience, having previously served as Head of Product Engineering at Audi and as Director of the FAW-Volkswagen production site in Changchun.

Strategic Foundation: Deepening Audi's Electrification Strategy in China

Audi holds a 55% stake in Audi FAW NEV Company Limited, marking the first Audi majority-owned project within the FAW Group and Volkswagen Group framework. The incoming CEO will focus on advancing the construction of the Changchun production base and accelerating the implementation of Audi’s electrification strategy in China. During his tenure, Helmut Stettner spearheaded the establishment of the facility from the ground up, laying the groundwork for future mass production.
