Faurecia Sells Interior Business for €1.82 Billion to Apollo Global Management
[Company News] Faurecia has agreed to sell its interior business to funds managed by Apollo Global Management for €1.82 billion, with the transaction expected to close by the end of 2026.
Core Strategic Move: Divesting a Key Segment to Focus on High-Value Businesses
Faurecia announced the sale of its top-three global interior business—which includes cockpit components such as instrument panels and door modules—to a fund managed by Apollo Global Management for €1.82 billion. This business segment generated revenues of €4.817 billion in 2025, representing approximately 18% of the group’s total revenue, and operates 59 production facilities employing over 31,000 people.
Strategic Rationale: Advancing the IGNITE Strategy to Strengthen Financial Structure
This divestiture is a key step in Faurecia’s IGNITE strategy, unveiled in February this year, aimed at concentrating on technology-driven core businesses. Upon completion of the transaction, the group’s net debt is expected to be reduced by at least €1 billion, accelerating its financial recovery and business portfolio transformation.
